The New Member Orientation is a information session designed to give members an overview of our Union at a Local and National Level. We go over the rights and entitlements provided to members through our Collective Agreement and answer your questions, as well as discuss the various ways Unifor 5555 provides education and how you can get involved with your Union.
The Unit 1 Collective Agreement provides for one hour, on top of your regular lunch hour to attend one of these sessions. During COVID, these sessions are being offered virtually.
Right now, this session is designed for Unit 1 members only. If you are in another Unit, please reach out to us at info@unifor5555.ca and we will put you in touch with a Unit representative who can walk you through your unit’s Collective Agreement.
