Thank You Lunch

As a Unifor member on a Joint Health & Safety Committee, the Union wanted to show appreciation for your service. We will be hosting a Thank You Lunch for all Unifor JHSC representatives:  We also wanted an opportunity to hear from you as to what kind of training, resources, or support you may be looking for from your Local.

Date: August 29 2024

Time: 12-2pm

Location: Local 5555 Union Hall – 86 Hester St Hamilton ON

In addition to your unpaid lunch break afforded to you in your respective CBAs, the Union will reimburse your department for the additional time.

Any incident that causes injury, could have caused injury or workplace hazard should be documented with an incident report.

If you are prescribed a medication not covered under the RX05 formulary used by Sunlife, you may be able to have it covered if there is a medically supported reason.  This is the appeal form to use.

This is the form to use if you require a workplace accommodation for medical reasons.  It should be filled out and submitted Employee Health Services.  For assistance, reach out to Jim McAndrew, Health and Safety Co-ordinaor at safety@unifor5555.ca
