Union Update Meetings
Union Update meeting are location specific meetings. These meetings allow the local leadership the opportunity to bring you updates and information about what is happening within our Local. It also allows you the opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns and discuss issues that are specific to your area.
These meetings will be held virtually, unless otherwise indicated. An email will be sent to members in each area approximately two weeks prior to a meeting in their location.
Most meetings are held over the lunch hours, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Locations will be listed as dates are confirmed. Please click on your location below to RSVP.
The Unit 1 Update meeting will be held in RJC364 from 12-1pm. Lunch will be provided for those that RSVP prior to end of day on October 7th. RSVPs after October 7th cannot guarantee dietary restrictions, or food availability.

All Units General Meetings
Use the form below to RSVP for the upcoming General Meeting. Your name, email and ID number are required to verify you are a Unifor 5555 member. The link for the meeting will be sent out by the morning of the meeting for those attending online.
The next All Units General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 26 November 2024 from 12-2pm. The meeting will once again be offered as a hybrid format – in-person and virtual options .
Light refreshments will be served for those RSVP for In-Person attendance. If you are unsure whether you will be in-person or online, please choose in-person. A zoom link will be sent to all registrants regardless of the attendance option selected.
New Member Orientations
New member orientations are an opportunity for members, new and old alike, to come meet your union representatives and find out about your Union. We explain our structure, touch on common questions we hear from members and discuss the resources and opportunities available to you.
These sessions are currently being held virtually. They run from 12-2, utilizing 1 hour of your lunch and 1 hour of paid time that has been bargained in your Collective Agreement.
