The Young Workers Committee (YWC) at McMaster University advocates for the rights, well-being, and professional development of young workers. We aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment by fostering leadership, education, and collaboration young/new employees.
The YWC exists to:
- Empower young workers by providing resources, training, and career-building opportunities.
- Advocate for fair workplace conditions, equitable policies, and mental health support.
- Engage young workers through networking, social events, and community initiatives.
- Educate members on their rights, workplace trends, and career advancement strategies.

The Young Workers Committee would like to present an evening full of fun, high energy, and laughs with a Games & Trivia Night. This will be a night to make connections with fellow McMaster employees, step back from our jobs, and unwind with one another.
There will be a mix of classic, modern, trivia based, and card games. You can also bring your own games so we could all enjoy. This will all be accompanied with snacks and drinks.
Come solo or with coworkers and let’s see who brings home the bragging rights!
