We have had folks ask for information on what organizations our local donates to. Donation requests are all approved by the Local Executive Board.
Often organizations are recommended by an Equity Committee to acknowledge a day of recognition or support of a particular initiative.
A donation policy that outlines the principles we use when we donate is being drafted to bring to the membership this year.
If member have a fundraiser, charity or initiative they would like the Local to support, please bring it to a steward, union representative or raise it at a General Meeting.
