Over this past year, the local developed a scholarship program for children of our members who are entering their first year of post-secondary education. This is our inaugural year to distribute 6 $3,000 Scholarships. There were more than 25 excellent applications reviewed by the Local’s Scholarship Committee and 6 young folks were chosen.
